Abstract:The integration of advanced manufacturing and modern service industry is an important way to adapt to the new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation, enhance the core competitiveness of the manufacturing industry, and cultivate a modern industrial system. This integration is also a key point for promoting the economic transformation and upgrading of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area and the main direction of building a modern industrial system. On the basis of clarifying the basic concept of the integration of the two industries, this article takes the intellectual property service industry, which is an important component of the modern service industry, as the starting point, and attempts to construct an index system to analyze and judge the integration degree of the intellectual property service industry and the new generation of information technology industry development. Based on the related index system, empirical research is carried out, focusing on the new generation of information technology industry. The results show that the current intellectual property service industry and the new generation of information technology industry in the Bay Area have problems such as unclear market positioning and non-standard services, and there is still a lot of room for improvement of integration of the two industries. Accordingly, this article puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions around the dimensions of cooperation path, business association, business model and policy environment, which provides some useful references for ensuring the modern service industry to promote a high-quality development of advanced manufacturing in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area.
